Volunteer Opportunities
Want to make a difference? Tired of yelling at your phone and the TV?
Our team has put together a list of organizations that could use your help.
From letter writing to fundraising to becoming a poll worker, there's something for everyone! Plus, most of these opportunities are virtual so the work can be done from anywhere.
Don't wake up November 4th and wish you'd done more.
Vote Forward empowers grassroots volunteers to help register voters from under-represented demographics and encourage them to vote. Sending a Vote Forward letter is one of the easiest things you can do to increase turnout. It takes two minutes and one stamp, and meaningfully increases the odds that the recipient will vote.

Flip the West is a grassroots organization focused on electing a Democratic majority to the U.S. Senate. Think Mitch McConnell, the courts, healthcare, the environment, racial justice, the response to the coronavirus pandemic (did we mention Mitch McConnell?), and you’ll know why this is our focus. They leverage the vast political energy in blue states to support campaigns aimed at defeating vulnerable GOP incumbents in red states, with an emphasis on direct voter engagement that can make the difference in competitive races. Flip the West coordinates with statewide and local grassroots organizations in red states to mobilize blue state volunteers to reach voters with targeted messages.

Future Now Fund is building the power to improve Americans’ lives — by winning state legislative majorities and working with them to achieve goals for the common good. Start your own Giving Circle! They do the analysis, targeting, and oversight — you engage your community to adopt a state! Pool contributions, foster a civically engaged group, and learn a ton about how our country works.

Reclaim Our Vote works in states where ongoing voter suppression and voter list purging have been disenfranchising millions of eligible voters — especially voters of color. Their volunteers inform and mobilize voters of color to make sure they are registered and they know how to get a ballot and vote. They are a nonpartisan campaign of the nonprofit 501(c)3 Center for Common Ground.
